NAD+ Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide & Longevity
NAD⁺ is an important coenzyme in cellular energy metabolism and is associated with ageing pathways, including sirtuins, PARP enzymes, and mitochondrial function. Its decline with age is documented across multiple human and animal studies. Research suggests that supplementation with NAD⁺ precursors (NR, NMN) may help increase intracellular NAD⁺ levels and support longevity-associated biological pathways.
Selenium Selenium / Selen — Antioxidant & Longevity
Selenium is an essential trace element with antioxidant properties via selenoproteins (GPx, thioredoxin reductase). It plays a role in thyroid function, immune regulation, and protection against oxidative DNA damage. Note: Selenium is not currently included in REVVY®’s marketed product formulations; this reference is provided for general scientific context.
Magnesium Magnesium — Cellular Energy & Stress
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions including ATP synthesis, DNA repair, protein production, and nervous system regulation. Deficiency is associated with accelerated ageing, inflammation, and metabolic dysfunction. Zinc Zinc — Immune Function & DNA Integrity
Zinc is essential for immune competence, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and the activity of over 300 enzymes. Zinc deficiency is associated with impaired immunity, increased inflammation markers, and accelerated cellular ageing — particularly relevant in older adults. Note: Zinc is not currently included in REVVY®’s marketed product formulations; this reference is provided for general scientific context.
